We loved the Art Deco walking tour! Dave was an excellent tour guide - very knowledgeable and engaging. I’d recommend this to any first timers wanting to explore downtown LA, especially if you are interested in architecture/history.

Took the Art Deco Tour. Wow, amazing! I have lived in LA for over 40 years and I learned quite a bit. Great to go inside some buildings I have driven past a million times and learn about them. Very reasonably priced for length of tour, knowledge of guide, and amount of information. Very well put together. We can't wait to take another tour! thanks to the LA Conservancy for preserving our heritage.

Over the past few years, I've attended about 5 of the LA Conservancy's walking tours, including the Modern Skyline tour, the Historic Downtown tour, the Union Station tour, and a special underground Downtown tour which my friend got me into through her Conservancy membership. The tours are affordable, convenient, and exactly what you hope they will be, and the tour guides are all terrific. The tours all live up to their billings. Plus, you get your steps in while walking through Downtown LA. Additionally, the LA Conservancy performs important historical preservation work, and your support helps them continue their work. The tours guides all seem very personally invested in the Conservancy's mission, which makes them passionate, well-informed presenters. LA Conservancy tours are great for both LA locals and tourists. Don't miss out!!

I did the historical tour of downtown LA, and it was really interesting. The guide was well versed, and highlighted buildings I may not have noticed, especially taking us inside some of the most interesting ones. I'd highly recommend taking them.

We had reservations to take the Took Art Deco Tour guided by a knowledgeable and pleasant guide from the Los Angeles Conservancy. The wealth of information that she exhibited on the Art Deco buildings and how she presented it kept your interest. I definitely recommend taking one of the tours from the Los Angeles Conservancy.

Peter was a wonderful tour guide and knew so much history about the architecture of the city while being patient and answering everyone's questions. He swiftly took us to so many places: Angel's Flight, the public library, Bradbury Building, Biddy Mason Memorial Park, Grand Central Market and gave the tour great information throughout. A wonderful experience.

We took the historic downtown walking tour. It was fun to see the inside of buildings that were so elegant, way more than the outside. The tour was well paced, and wound up at Grand Central Market in time for lunch.

Robyn our tour guide talked non-stop for almost 3 hours.
It was the most informative, interesting, surprising 3 hours I've ever spent on a walking tour. Everything she said was valid, well informed, detailed, funny, historically correct. I could have spent all day listening to her.

There is so much to see in DTLA that you would not notice without this tour. The architecture and history (whilst not like English history), was fascinating.

It was a scorching day, yet she found shade, places to refresh water and to stop off. Very considerate and excellent value for money at $15 I'll be booking back on the Theatre tour next time I go.

This tour gives a great history of the oldest movie theaters in Los Angeles. We got to see the side of two theaters, the Los Angeles and the Ace, and they were just incredible. Our docent, Jan Westman, was that incredibly knowledgable, adding his own stories and answering all our questions. These theaters truly represent a bygone era and are worth seeing and preserving.
