Breenna was the best! She was knowledgeable, comical, patient and caring! It was a walking tour. We loved learning about the history. Will definitely do it again. My daughter who is an aspiring actress was able to personally connect with Breenna. She provided great info, and yet realistic.

We took this tour in February with our 2 children (9 and 12). Everyone received headsets so easy to hear the guide. Great way to learn about the history of holllywood. Before the tour, we had checked out the walk of fame and had a lot of questions, all of which were easily answered on the tour. The tour took about 1 1/2 hours and gave a thorough overview of Hollywood, no need to spend any time in Hollywood after you take the tour. After we took the tour, we went to the la brea tarpits and then took a drive down sunset boulevard.

This is a great way to spend an hour, especially when you first arrive on Hollywood Boulevard. The guide was informative and we noticed so much more than we would have just walking up and down on our own. We got to go inside the Egyption theatre and enjoyed the stories of old.

We did the Hollywood behind the scenes tour and thought it was pretty good. There were lots of stories you wouldn’t know by just reading the guide book or walking alone. The guide was enthusiastic and the pace was great. I’d recommend if you want to learn a bit more about how Hollywood and the walk of fame started.

Just to say thank you for the really great tour I had on the 23rd of november 2014.
It was one of the best walking tours I had in the US. Beleve me I have visited more than 10 towns and 8 states in the USA in 2,5 months.
Plus this day, they where no customers so had the chance to have a privet tour. I really loved the way the guide transported me in the past and present with his interesting and funny anecdotes. He also gave his personal experience of the place, and it made it even better.
I really recomend this tour if you want to know more about hollywood.

I purchased a Go LA card and then booked this Red Line Tour online for July 12, 2014. I received a confirmation, and even called to confirm. A gentleman answered and when I mentioned the Go LA card he immediately began speaking like a recording stating that I needed to arrive early and would have seats if they were available. So, I printed up my confirmation and arrived at the designated location "the Egyptian Theatre" which is no longer there and the building looked like it should be condemned. We waited for 30 minutes after the said opening time and nobody arrived. I was very disappointed as we planned our day around this tour.

Dear Debbi W - We are sorry that you were unable to find us. We are located at the Egyptian Theatre which is a major National Historic Monument on Hollywood Blvd. This historic landmark has been here for nearly 100 years. Is it possible that you went to another location? Can you tell me what day that you tried to visit us? We would like to find out more about what might have happened. Please contact me back at tony@redlinetours,com.

Definitely consider visiting downtown LA. It is not your typical amusement park or entertainment industry crazed environment. We were able to learn the history while seeing the many tourist attraction places. Have been to LA over 10 times now, but this was our family's first visit and tour of downtown LA. Would recommend for those who love history.

We had been looking forward to this tour and it didn't disappoint. We were treated like V.I.P.'s as we went from location to location, which was special. Some of the time we saw the same things as the regular tour offered, which in itself was very interesting. For me the best part was going to the costuming and props department. It was fascinating and we learned so much. Our tour guide (I can't remember his name but he also worked on the Ellen show) was extremely knowledgeable and even though he was bombarded with questions (mostly by me) he answered them all satisfying my curiosity into the movie making business. In addition there was the bonus of a delicious three course meal in a private room of the Executive Restaurant. The food (from a set menu) and the service was very good. We had a memorable five hours at the Warner Brothers studio and even though it was quite expensive, my husband and I thoroughly recommend it.

My whole crew really enjoyed the hour or so tour of the area around the Dolby Theater. Very knowledgeable and informative guide. Enjoyed the insight he provided. I recommend this walking tour. Headsets for each participant allowed the guide to be very clearly heard. Would recommend.

Usually, I do not write reviews, but this time I really had to share my experience. I visited LA a couple of times before, but this time I brought friends who are first timers. We wanted to do something more than just walk down the walk of fame, so we booked the Red line tour Hollywood behind the scenes. This was a great choice! I learnt so much about the history of Hollywood, quirky stories and fun facts. The tour guide was Tamara and she had interesting facts, brand new news and combined it with her long time experience in the area. We enjoyed the tour so much. I was really surprised as I usually do not like to do the typical touristy stuff.

Will be there on a Sunday in July, is there any free or budget friendly parking nearby?
Written 23 May 2019
Hello, there are plenty of parking at 10/15$ per full day.
Honestly I don’t think it will be easy to find free parking nearby.

Hi
How long does the tour last?
Written 6 July 2017
No more than 2 hours... was probably more like 1.5 hrs. It was a good basic tour of the Hollywood strip. Gave some history and facts about the area. I recommend. Our tour guide was great and answered any questions that we had.

I would like to know if the Red Line Tour Behind The Scenes includes a visit inside the TLC and Dolby Theatre.
(or) if the Tour will explain the history behind these famous theaters without a visit inside.
My wife and I bought the Go Los Angeles Card, which includes the Tour inside the Dolby Theater. Are they the same Tour? Should we do both?
Written 22 January 2017
Hola! Compre la go card LA y tiene incluido el tour, quisiera saber cuánto dura y si es caminando por Hollywood o también te llevan a distintos lugares en bus. Gracias!!
Written 29 September 2016
