Went with my gf to see Brain Time. I've never been to a comedy show before and I didn't know what to expect, but it exceeded my lowest expectations. I had to keep myself from laughing at how awful it was. Very few of the...More

I went for "Good Looks" show. I had a great time. All comedians are pretty funny. Last act was by Sarah Silverman. If you're on budget holiday and looking to explore LA comedy scene. Do not miss it.

We decided to drop in to an early performance at the Upright Citizens Brigade. This one was where the performers were auditioning for a chance to go to the Montreal comedy festival. The theatre is pretty small and its first come first seated so show...More

My family and I have seen a number of shows at the UCB and they are always fun! It’s also a great chance to see comedic actors from some of your favorite shows and no movies! In recent visits, we have seen an improvised musical...More

I like the idea that the place is free (with a donation basket at the end to a different charity each night). That’s very cool. Depending on the night, you can see some great and fun performances. How funny it is really depends on who...More

Buy your tickets in advance or show up super early because this show was sold out! We saw “The Smokes” on Monday night and boy, we were not disappointed. At $6/person, it’s a cheap night out, the smokes was a good show with lots of...More

We loved visiting this Improv Theater! We went to a show named "S----y Jobs" where the sketch group took a suggestion from the audience about their worst jobs and performed from there. Loved how cheap each ticket was and enjoyed the comedy. Bought our tickets...More

I'm from the Midwest and had been to Second City shows in Chicago. I was so excited to get here and check out a show. I was startled by how darn cheap it was ($7). Many of those there that night are just starting out...More

At $6 pp was best fun eva. 4 performers responded to audience ques. And created an entertaining dialogue. The theatre was comfy and was surrounded by food and drink venues. Other performances on there as well.

This particular show was based on a secret shared by an audience member. The skits that came out of the audience member's anecdote were hilarious! I like the small size of the venue, but would recommend arriving very early if you have a larger group...More

It depends on the show. Some of the UCB shows like Asssscat, sell out weeks in advance but most you can buy before the show. That said, personally, I would recommend ordering them online before the actual date of the show.
