I love going to the Gene Autry Museum, it brings back the times when Westerns were the order of the day. You will see lots of fun things and do not be surprised if nostalgia gives you a heads up.

Awesome Museum to visit while in the area. You can learn about the American West culture. Love the location since you can go to the park and the zoo while there. Love it.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find this mureum when looking for something to do when we visited Glendale. It has a good location with lots of parking. The displays are excellent and the complimentary admission for veterans was very nice.

Not sure about tours. Suggest using Uber or renting a car...Costco has great rates for members. Might want to check Burbank area hotels since Disney and Warner studios in area.
