We really enjoyed the layout and displays and we were lucky enough to go of Free Tuesday. Lots of memorabilia but also shows you a good slice of western history. Highly recommend.

A really fine museum, focusing on the American west and only tangentially so on Gene Autry. Fine exhibits, very good art, interesting all the way through. Good parking, and right across the street from the LA Zoo.

Not sure about tours. Suggest using Uber or renting a car...Costco has great rates for members. Might want to check Burbank area hotels since Disney and Warner studios in area.
