I have been lucky to attend LA Philharmonic several times over the years with its great conductors. In particular, I have enjoyed performances by LA Phil under Carlo Maria Giulini, Esa-Pekka Salonen and now the amazing Gustavo Dudamel. About 20 years ago, I attended a...More

Absolutely amazing theater design and acoustics. What a wonderful setting for a wonderful orchestra! We attended a presentation of the philharmonic playing along with the movie West Side Story. It was a perfect evening!

I saw the LA Phil with Gustavo Dudamel at the Walt Disney Concert Hall playing some of Mozart's final compositions and it was a magical experience. The acoustics are incredible and the performance was absolutely top notch. Despite some of the various noises in the...More

The location is an amazing building downtown. Arrive early to walk around the place, even to visit the two museums walking distance. The hall is just beautiful on the inside, full of wood finishings. The Philharmonic orchestra is great, Dudamel, the Venezuelan director is high...More

Highly recommend the balcony seats behind the orchestra. You get to watch Dudamel at work and see things from the perspective of the orchestra. Make sure to attend one of the talks before the concert too.

We've subscribed to the LA Phil for years. Our own Dudamel is a fabulous conductor of our superb orchestra, but we always enjoy visiting conductors. The programs are varied and soloists outstanding. For anyone who loves music, a concert at Disney Hall should be a...More
