My husband and I hadn't been to USH in 25 years and we decided this year to get passes because they are fairly inexpensive in comparison to Disney and we are close enough to go on a whim. Made our first reservation for a Sunday in early March and we were on our way with our boys 16, 13 and 8. My two youngest are autistic and we stopped at guest services to inquire about the attraction pass they provide for people with disabilities they really were so sweet to both my boys and the whole process was very easy to sign up and made the day go so smoothly. My boys loved all the rides and although it got pretty crowded we didn't have too much hassle navigating the park on a very busy first day. Fast forward to a couple weeks later and we came in later in the day and were in the park for about 4 hours and did so much because at night time the park really emptied out and we were able to ride rides with no wait over and over a couple times even the big rides like the mummy and Jurassic World. The light show on the Hogwarts castle is also not to be missed can't wait for more fun with my family in the months ahead. One weird con I have is they don't have paper towels in the restroom but for the most part I don't really have many complaints.
Hi Andi, we are so happy that you and your family enjoyed our Park. We truly appreciate our kind, courteous, and compassionate Guest Relations Team! We will be sure to forward your kind words to their Senior Leadership Teams and give them our personal thanks. We look forward to seeing you soon, and thank you for being Pass Members!

Tons of fun but long long lines
Harry Potter world was amazing with lots to do and see, and the Revenge of the Mummy ride was exciting as always. I hope they keep that ride forever. Harry Potter Forbidden Journey ride was spectacular. The Hogwarts Castle nighttime light show was phenomenal. The Jurassic World ride was wonderful and had lots of dinosaurs in it. Minion Mayhem was definitely for little kids and not worth the 45 minute wait as an adult. Despicable Me land was cool though. As an adult who loves Minions, I still had fun, but wished there was more minion-esque things for adults to do. Things to improve: Waiting in line for most rides was lackluster. There were tv screens to look at that filtered through material. It would've been smart and a lot more fun if Universal had people dressed in character costumes entertaining us while we all waited. There should have been people dressed as minions, trainers carrying baby dinosaurs for us to pet, and a guy dressed as the Mummy scaring us. The other downside was the massive crowds. We were shoulder to shoulder packed like sardines. I've been to Universal many times and this was crazy, not like the past. The lines were outrageous. Wait times were an hour average but ranged from 40 mins to 2.5 hours. There should definitely be extra entertainment for the people waiting in line.
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your visit. We always appreciate any and all feedback that our Guests are willing to provide. We are happy to hear about your day in the Park! We always recommend Jurassic World - The Ride and Revenge of the Mummy for our thrill seekers. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Perfect for angsty 12 year old that doesn’t love roller coasters
It was fun. The lines are super long. Moes tavern was totally good. I wanted to go to like any other theme park in socal but my 12 year old was insistent on going here and it was actually perfect for him. A good day.

    Magical Experience
I recently visited Universal Studios Hollywood and had an incredible time! The park is packed with thrilling rides, exciting attractions, and fun experiences for all ages. One of the highlights of my visit was the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, where I felt like I was transported straight into the books and movies. The attention to detail in the shops and rides was truly impressive, and I loved trying Butterbeer for the first time.
We are thrilled to hear that you had a great time at our park! We appreciate your positive feedback.

    Amazing Experience.
Don't miss the Harry Potter, Transformers, Jurassic World, and The Mummy rides. It's better not to go on weekends. It's better to take the express entry pass, to skip the long queue. I was in the queue for each ride and had to wait for 60-75 minutes for each ride in the sun in the scorching heat. Also, do not miss the Tour Bus ride to see how movies are made.
Hi there! We always recommend the Universal Express for priority access to all of our Attractions and Shows (excluding Mario Kartâ„¢: Bowser's Challenge). Thank you so much for providing tips and tricks for future visitors to our Park! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

    It's a meee, Mario!
Having been to Universal Orlando several times, Hollywood's location is a bit underwhelming...but still FUN! We went to visit the new Nintendo World. While Nintendo World is small in size, and only having one ride, it was big in experience. I can see the enormous potential for expansion! It was interactive, immaculately themed and loads of fun! I recommend making reservations immediately when you arrive if you want to go to the Toadstool Cafe. It was so cute!! And the food was good!
Thank you for your review. We are so happy to hear about your experience in SUPER NINTENDO WORLDâ„¢. We hope to see you again very soon!

    The Hollywood Experience
Universal Hollywood, like the name, is more for movie fans with a bonus of a few simulator rides, where the FL park is all about the rides. We did the studio tour twice in one day and they were very different as on the second time, there was filming nearby, so we had to be quiet which emphasized that you are on an actual working studio. We loved Waterworld, with real working actors, and fantastic effects. We did single rider where available, and avoided Mario world, where the bulk of the crowds were headed. This made many of the lines much shorter, with the exception of Jurassic World, which was longer, but totally worth it. Having been to the FL park last December with family, I was hesitant to visit this location, but the experience was so different and as a big fan of tv/movies, I loved it!

    Universal Studios was Perfect!
Friendly, safe, enjoyable entertainment. Happy polite, organised staff. We had 2 x wheelchairs and the service they could deliver for getting them around was superb. So easy to get to places with elevators & a courtesy bus. Excellent wheelchair parking facilities & for strollers. RV Parking available & nearby. Perfect!

    Universal BLEW my mind!
WOW - I had no idea how much I would enjoy this visit. My daughter and I visited LA in August 2023. This was my second visit to Universal Studios, my first being 42 years ago. We were fortunate to be able to do the VIP tour and wow, we’re we spoiled. Our guide was AMAZING and made the day so special for us, thank you Libni! Not waiting in line made the cost of this ticket worth every penny. We were able to do every ride in the park (some twice) and see the Waterworld show. As an adult I work with technology and user experience so this made the trip so great for me. The attention to detail in each park area blew my mind. From Moaning Myrtle in the HP bathroom to beers at Moe’s place I was spellbound. We arrived at 10:30 and were treated to breakfast, vegan and vegetarian options were available. Lunch was also full of vegan, and vegetarian choices. Libni was so good to us, he made sure our bags were safe while we rode the rides, and made sure we had a fulsome experience in the park. He really seems to enjoy his job, which made my day even better. We left the park at 9 pm after a full day of fun. Uber was easy to get to and from the park from our hotel. I would return again and I would do the VIP tour if affordable, it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
We're so happy to hear such a well thought out and happy review of your visit to our Park! Thank you for the play-by-play of your day. We're always so thrilled when our Guests get excited about the small details we implement to enhance the Guest experience. Thank you for keeping us motivated to continue brining movies to life. We would be honored to see you again!

    Get express tickets!
We visited on Sunday 10th September 2023 and paid for express tickets which was the best decision we could have made. We queue jumped every ride apart from Mario Kart as they don’t allow it on this ride and we were there from open to close. If we didn’t pay for express we would not have had the time to go on all the rides, this was just our experience and perhaps it is quieter on weekdays. We really enjoyed the studio tour and found this so interesting to see all the film sets etc and would recommend it. Hogsmeade was the absolute highlight for me. The prices that universal charge are high especially parking ($30 standard or $50 preferred) and all the food options inside the park, but this is just to be expected. About 95% of the rides are 3D experiences/simulator rides but that is what universal is all about. There’s quite an extensive choice of places to eat, we had lunch at Cletus Chicken Stack which was standard fast food (the corn on the cobs are awful!) it was a really hot and humid day so we were purchasing a lot of bottled water which were $5 each. We were disappointed that the stranger things ride was not open but read somewhere it’s only open at certain times ie Halloween. Overall we did have a great day, albeit expensive, and glad that we got to experience it but wouldn’t necessarily feel the need to go again.

My teenage son and I decided at the last minute to upgrade from general admission to vip experience... Cost about $350 but with that we got a fun free breakfast buffet that was funn entertaining as characters went around chatting with us prior to our tour.. They give you groups of 14 or 15 people and you get a tour guide that takes you to everything so you don't miss anything and you could have skipped all the Lines... Without a doubt it was well worth than wait an hour or 2 in line. Without a doubt it was well worth the money rather than wait an hour or 2 in line. They also give you a free lunch and park and is included in the price of VIP

The new Mario ride was having technical difficulties - not the first time either. One quick Google search shows how many times rides here are broken. My own previous experience at Universal Orlando was the same when fast and furious had technical difficulties after we had waited for over an hour.
Went to Kung Fu Panda ride and they asked me to go to box office and print the tickets because it was their policy to have express passes printed or in the app. No one at the entrance to the park or at any other ride had mentioned this to me that I will need to show them express entry printed ticket and not the one attached to my email sent by universal. The whole experience was terribly disappointing and ruined our day. I don’t think I will let Universal Studios scam me third time. These express passes cost a pretty penny and all they just do is shrug and look the other side. Never coming back.

The studio tour was informative and fun bring as the shuttle included sets, special effects and virtual reality experiences while onboard. The Waterworld Show was spectacular. The rides were busy, lots of queing, we chose rides that didn't have waits of more than 30 mins. These rides were enjoyable but we personally could see no point in spending up to 100 minutes in a queue for one ride. If they offered a ticket for studio tour and Waterworld Show separately, that would be worthwhile for those not wanting to do rides.

Well worth the queueing as most were entertaining.
We enjoyed our Krusty Burger and most of the rides. Not too busy as we were there on a Friday.

The park is extremely well themed for each ride. It is clean and easy to get around. There are many characters walking around and hanging out of the windows. The entire park is oozing with creativity.

Here are tips:

1. Go to park during off season. We went the first week of March and hopped on every ride in no time. Most rides we didn't wait for more than 10 minutes. The longest wait time was 25 minutes for the Studio Tour.

1. Nintendo World: The power bands are a joke, especially, if you don't have very young children. The challenges are extremely lame and lines even during early entry are too long for such lame challenges. Whoever designed the challenges and priced the bands should be embarrassed. I would simply just ride the Mario Cart ride. Take a walk up to the long stairs to get great photos from on top of the building. I would recommend early entry just to have more time in the park overall.

2. Bring a pancho to wear on the Jurassic Ride because the seats get wet. Check weather and bring umbrella and pancho in case it rains.

3. The Water Works Show is really good. But it was the only show playing. There should be at least 3 shows in this park.

4. Most rides are simulator. If you have health conditions, you may want to avoid this park. Some rides have height checks, so small children are excluded.

5. Bring a water bottle and snacks. The prices really are too HIGH for everything. Universal should slash the prices in half. The merchandise is sooooo well designed. However, it is as if the park business managers really don't want to sell! Do you see people buying a lot of merchandise? No. That should tell Universal something. If people bought merchandise such as shirts and accessories, they would wear them outside the park and it is free advertising for the park! Do you see people eating and drinking a lot? No. If prices were lower, people would indulge more. Try a different sales strategy. Stop the HUGE mark ups. , which only make customers feel bad. Universal business folks wise up and get your customers to spend more freely on extras with lower prices. It would be a win/win and the start of a model of pricing at quality amusement parks which should be business friendly, instead of acting like low level carnivals, which are known to rip people off.

We had a good time. The park is quite small. Only about 10 rides. Harry Potter world is very small. If you are looking for a more immersive harry Potter go to Orlando. Definitely go on the universal studio tour ride! It's amazing
