When in LA Universal studio is definitely must see!! Has a lot to offer, great show & entertainment, something for everyone. Prices are not cheap but its lifetime experience...( try to get earlier in the morning to avoid big queue for tickets)
We went here for the wife's birthday as VIP which was great. The park is small but very well maintained and has great service. Definitely do VIP if you can because you'll get a rich experience and cut all the lines.
We went for my mom's my son's and my birthday and we loved it. My son just turned 9 and is not a fan of rides but he did almost all of them and of course got his wand in Hogsmead. Of course he love...More
Went on a Thursday and was there with my 8 year old son right at 10. Prepurchased tickets and got through the scanning line & security line quite quickly. We went straight to Harry Potter and enjoyed it immensely. Got an interactive wand which unlocks...More

Ok so the place is very expensive 109$ a ticket in advance. There are many people at the park, even though we came in a good day where you needed to wait only 10-15 minuts in the queue rides. you should start with the popular...More
It’s a big place. You can buy a ticket before you go and there’s a skip the line option called Universal Express. If you do that, you’re looking at about $180/person. You can save by buying ahead online. The tour is included in the price...More
If you are a fan of the Simpsons or the Harry Potter series, then you should definitely visit this park. We also greatly enjoyed the studio tour (minus the ridiculous Fast and Furious section). The food choices are great. The main reason we didn't like...More

Hi, I completely agree with the other responses - as long as you go when the crowd is lightest (Mon - Fri and when school is in), get there as soon as they open, one day should be plenty and we did not get the expensive express pass. We waited no more than 20 minutes for our longest wait time. Also, it can get very warm here, even when school is in, so keep that in mind as well. A cooler month would be better and would make all the walking and standing easier to handle.

I don't think I would bother. The lines weren't all that long on an off-season Saturday. During the week, unless it is peak season (or school holidays), I don't think it is necessary. Going to the more popular rides (e.g... More
I don't think I would bother. The lines weren't all that long on an off-season Saturday. During the week, unless it is peak season (or school holidays), I don't think it is necessary. Going to the more popular rides (e.g., Harry Potter), is your best defense.
