Living in Mount Shasta, the caverns are part of the local tour when friends and family come to town. We recommend going on a weekday in summer and booking the first tour of the day. You'll take the ferry across the lake along with the...More

For a four-day trip to the Shasta/Redding area, this was our kids' highlight of the trip. Your ticket includes a short pontoon boat ride across the lake, a kids favorite. This is followed by an exhilarating 15-minute bus ride up the mountain. There were several...More

This truly was an amazing experience. Not just learning about the lake and seeing the beauty of the mountains and all, but of course the caverns. The tour is well worth the price. From the Ferry to the shuttle to the guide inside, everyone was...More

Well I visited here over the labor day weekend and I was not impressed that we were told it was a self-paced tour and that there would be guides in each room to explain things. SO basically you are on your own and when you...More
