Definitely enjoyed this beach even though it was a bit windy and cold so we didn't want to sunbathe nor swim. It was nice just to talk on the beach, look at the beautiful houses and explore the cave at the end of the beach....More

Great beach and great views, however parking is not good. Maybe an early start to this location would be better, but low tide is better for the caves. All in all a worth while adventure to 1,000 Steps Beach.

Beautiful beach. Fairly secluded. Well worth the climb both in and out. Visited 3 or 4 times the past few years, and each time we loved it.

Great beach with beautiful sunsets. This beach requires fitness. Parking is difficult and you must be able to climb up and down lots of stairs.

So many steps to get down and up! But pretty cool once your on the beach. If you go to your left you can go to a sea cave that brings you to a small pool. Sea water crashes in and keeps the pool constantly...More

You actually have to hit this spot 2 times during your stay in Laguna, once at low tide to climb through the caves and once at high tide to see the pool! Or bring lunch and stay all day! It's worth every step, looks like...More

This location is tucked away in south laguna. Great place to go spend an afternoon for a more local vibe.

This is a great place to walk the steps. The payoff is the beach below. It gets crowded in the summer. Park across the street.

Depends on if you want to walk through the cave or swim? Go at low tide to walk/hike through the cave and high tide to swim. Check the local tide charts to find out when high and low tides are!

The steps are at 9th Ave Light....we parked along the street...hit or miss...walk single file, and I wouldn't recommend carrying a heavy load down to the beach; unless you have someone willing to do it!
