Stayed at La Quinta Resort on a golf package, which included access to the Norman course. Tees, greens and fairways were in excellent condition. Difficult but very playable course - unlike the PGA West Stadium Course which was magnificent but just too hard. Rough was...More

I found this to be the most playable course at PGA West. It was fun, not ridiculously difficult like the stadium, and not punitive. The scenery was beautiful, and the course was in great condition.

Even in this reseeding period, this course was in good shape. The greens were fast but too hard, the balls didn't bite and often rolled off green. Overall a good experience.

My wife and I both really liked the golf course. The fairways are very wide, but anywhere off the fairway lurked the desert on both sides. We liked the view that provided us --> it framed your target very well. I was driving the ball...More

This course is tough to find and the PGA folks don't make it easy on visitors. After we arrived I discovered that they were booked solid because this was the only course not closed for overseeding. The course is in fine shape with fast greens...More
