The food at the gliderport cafe is standard deli food, but the best part is watching people take off and land while hang gliding right by where you are eating! It was lots of fun for the family to watch, would definitely recommend. The only...More

This is a fabulous place to hang glide and a wonderful place from which to hike Black's Beach. close to Torrey Pines State Park, the shoreline typifies southern California, a unique sort of beauty.

I always ensure that first time visitors get a solid look at the Torrey Pines Gliderport as it's one of the many things about La Jolla you just can't find elsewhere. On the Pacific over looking Blacks Beach it's just so amazing and really gets...More

Nice place to spend a few hours watching The Brave people hang glide I always wanted to try but never had the courage. Great place also to sit and watch the ocean much better than La Jolla cove.

The view was Brest taking from the cliffs. Fun to watch the gliders take off. We didn't take a flight, as we only watched but well worth going and packing a lunch or snacks.

Friday afternoon just before sunset, magnificent view, very relaxing and yet romantic to watch the sun goes down if you are lucky on a clear day or with just few clouds, very dramatic. You can also enjoy a picnic at this gorgeous location.

This is a fun stop for a great view of the ocean while watching the paragliders sail through the air and off the cliffs. You can hang out on the deck for free, though they have a small cafe where you can get a quick...More

I would agree with Rich G.. we had no problems staying in the parking area during our visit. I would say there were 15 camper/motorhomes there the night we stayed
