The Torrey Pines Glideport offers amazing views of Torrey Pines and La Jolla Cove. Having the hang gliders in the background just add to the scenery.

Although I did not partake in the fun my sons management team took flight as a break between long meetings. From what heard it was a peaceful flight with lots a good views that only sea gulls typically see

Really cool spot. Worth a stop for sure. If you have the guts try the Paraglide. We didn’t but sure looked fun. Had a great time watching them fly. Fun stop on the way up the coast.

Was in a friends wedding at this location and the views were beautiful, but tons of people Around and gliders in and out which was disruptive to the ceremony. Can’t beat the views though.

Some might, I sure didn't! It was very quiet and peaceful! That said, if you have any fear of heights I'd opt out. Pacific Ocean is 350 feet from where you take off and you're sail much, much higher than that!

Yes, you need to book in advance but I am sure there is sometimes a possibility to be spontaneous and book on site. Call in advance and check.
