This is a very nice beach. The sand is very soft and the slope is very nice. There are bathrooms/beach showers in the area which is nice. There are lifeguards along the area and constantly patrolling which is great. There is some seaweed along here...More

La Jolla Shores is such a charming, quiet diversion from downtown La Jolla. There is a great little strip of restaurants and shops to cover pretty much all of your needs and tastes, and the beachside park is a great place to play.

Tried to get to the beach but the area was very crowded. Parking was full everywhere. Beach looked very nice except for the crowds. Probably better on a weekday.

Nice beach but too much seaweed. Safe waves, can see fish and seals. A great place to launch a kayak and see the cove and caves.

La Jolla Shores is the perfect beach for swimming, walking, shell collecting, etc. This is a wonderful beach for families as there is a strong lifeguard presence, and the shallow water extends for a distance enabling one to wade and splash without committing to deep...More
