We went this past Sunday, a very large selection of herb plants to purchase, very attractive and well made necklaces, earrings and bracelets. The first stand before you enter the body of the market is a small jewelry stand , hand made bracelets made from brass, beads, twine and ribbons. Stop here to look at the table but ask him... More

So many truly great vendors such as Small Goods with their amazing array of cheeses and cured meats I haven't seen anywhere else to more prepped food than you'll find in any food court (and the offerings are way better) to a vast array of produce. LOVE the Reed avocados which are usually found only in back yards. Only two... More

Every year we visit LaJolla and one of the highlights the highlights each year is our weekly trip to the La Jolla Open Aire Market. There are wonderful fruits and vegetables that are so incredibly fresh. There are some really interesting artisans and fantastic food venders. Love this market. A wonderful assortment of crafts, products, and farm fresh items. Any time we visit San Diego, we make a stop here. It is fun to browse, enjoy the atmosphere, talk to vendors, or purchase some unique well crafted item. We usually are able to walk through within about an hour. If one were really buying and shopping... More

Visited the market to walk off breakfast, and enjoyed it very much. Located in the parking lot of an elementary school in town, there are numerous vendors, from organic produce, to honey. Fresh bouquets of flowers, and lots of different food vendors. Produce stands are stocked with fresh, local produce. Cool place to stroll through and browse.

Just taking it all in before and after dinner because the weather is just perfect. We strolled around casually just checking out the shops and people watching. There is so much to see and do and something for everyone.

We come to La Jolla on a Friday and then plan on visiting the Market on Sunday to stock up on fresh fruits and veggies, breads, snack and even gifts for the following week. Plan on eating lunch here when you come - so many choices! Our favorites included the crepes (works of art) and the BBQ pit sausage sandwich... More

Lucky enough to be in La Jolla on a Sunday when this was open. Lots of interesting shopping, beautiful produce and flowers, and delicious food. We got some salami and cheese that was fantastic, took home some fresh almonds, and ate fresh oysters. If you like farmers' markets, don't miss this!
