Cut off 101 and take the few minutes to drive up this overlook of Klamath Cove. Trails and picnic area at the top. Might see whales. But definitely a great photo opp.

There is a great view at the overlook and a good place to have a picnic. There is an old Inn up there. This is one of many great overlooks.

This Inn has beautiful views and is historic. The staff are welcoming and the rooms are nice (although ours could have done with some curtains). We had dinner at the Inn and I felt it was overpriced for what it was. Also, the communal tables...More

The Innis great and the road leading up from it is spectacular. We parked at the lot up the hill and drank in the sunset views of the ocean and Klamath.

The drive to the view point is about 5 minutes and tales you by the historic Requa Inn. The views up there are awesome. You can see where the Klamath meets up with the ocean. We were fortunate to meet a local up there that...More

Bring a picnic lunch and a bottle of wine, the tables are ready when you get there. Always bring a sweater, or coat, the north coast is commonly windy.

Great views of the beach where the Klamath river empties to the ocean. Just drive up the hill to the top and there is a free and great view.

The road has suffered the ravages of many years of heavy rains and neglect, so go slow over all the bumps and gravelly sections. You will be rewarded (on clear days) with sweeping view of the mouth of the Klamath and the mountains beyond.

Drove out the road on an overcast day and when we arrived at the overlook we were above the clouds and couldnt see a thing. The next day was much better. Its a nice pacific ocean view and well worth the short drive.
