It is a waste of money and time to visit this place. I love animals but it was very depressing to see monkeys kept in small area and unable to move much.

Just amazed to see over 60 different species. An enormous range of nonhuman primate species, ranging from pygmy marmosets (from 100 gm) to gorillas. The Japan Monkey Centre is a museum and zoo that exhibits the largest number of nonhuman primate species in the world.

I love animals but felt very conflicted. It was nice to see all of the monkeys but it was kind of sad and depressing too. They didn't seem happy and I felt bad that they were crammed in the small cages.
