Inuyama Castle and the Inuyama area is so beautiful! The castle itself has spectacular views from the top. The stairs are very steep and slippery so make sure to be careful. Avoid using socks if possible.

Just a train ride from Meitutsu to Inuyama station. Then a 10min walk where you will also pass a old town with many small restaurants and shops. The walk up to the castle entrance is very beautiful. You will pass a temple to go up....More

I went there on a weekday. There were not many people. The castle is maintained under good condition. The view is amazing when I climbed up to the top floor. It is easy to have a fantastic view of the Inuyama town.
