When you think if a tropical beach in Cambodia, you think of calm seas, palm trees and a laid back atmosphere. This fails on all three points. The beach (if you can call it that) is covered with chairs from shacks and restaurants lined the whole way down the strip. Constantly hassled by locals and westerners trying to sell you... More

A very nice beach quite busy, lots of bars. Women walking round asking you if you want manicure or massage , if you dont want just say no thank you they do not hassle you. Lads selling sun glasses again they are no hassle. Children selling string bracelets or begging. Dont buy off them or give them anything as this... More

This beach was a complete disappointment. For approximately 1.5km along the main resort area, there is an unbroken line of bars and restaurants going right up to and sometimes built onto the sandy area of the beach itself. Where there is some sand, the bars have put so many tables, chairs and sunbeds on the beach, it's impossible to find... More

Full of Bars on at least 1km beach where you can find anything. Go till the end of the beach you"ll see the Khmer part where only inhabitants can sit. It's worth the detour, the change of atmosphere in a flash is guaranteed

To have a few beers and a meal on the sand is something you expect to be a rip-off, however the row of places right on the beach herd are very reasonable. Our table was about 5 metres from where the small waves were lapping up. As long as you are ordering from the bar/restaurant they didn't mind you also... More

Just dropping down from the golden lions roundabout we went left and enjoyed cheap chilled cold Beers n Wine. BBQ food offering looks good - a chill out experience similar to Pub Street in Siem Reap. ENJOY

This beach isn't the best we have seen from SE Asia, however it's fairly clean, loads of bars and cafes which have sun loungers you can use for free, as long as you buy something! The big down side for us was the constant people coming up asking if we want to go to this pool party or that bar,... More

This beach is busy and dirty! There's rubbish everywhere. There's an overload of rude people that constantly try to sell you all kinds of stuff including massage, manicure, pedicure, threading, sunglasses, boat trips, bracelets. Heaps of people walk around asking for money, anyone from kids, munks, amputees and parents carrying infants. Western peoole walk around trying to convince you to... More

Maybe we are different than everyone else, but when relaxing on the beach we don't like being bombarded with flyers and people looking to sell stuff. We especially don't like the foreigners handing out flyers when they toss them on the beach and think it's ok to leave them without cleaning them up. As if the ocean and beaches don't... More
