The Reserve Room is a revolutionary concept in a number of ways. In the first place, it's probably the first wine tasting room you've ever been in with chairs, tables and napkins. But more important, the RESERVE ROOM takes you on the ultimate wine country tasting journey unlike anything you've experienced in a wine tasting room before. Each guest takes a seat in our comfortable and intimate room where you can enjoy wine-inspired art, a little music and views of the hillside vineyards of Kenwood located just out our window. You are then treated to a seven-course pairing menu that includes seven Mayo Family Reserve wines crafted by Winemaker Michel Berthoud and seven tasting dishes created and prepared by Chef Max Porter-Elliott to compliment the seven wines. The Mayo Family RESERVE ROOM is our opportunity to take you further into the wine and food experience that defines Wine Country.

Really worth a stop! Very nice wines and paired with amazing bites! A chef presents each course set out in three presentations. Small venue so if crowded gets extremely noisy.

Chef Sam provided an educational and delicious tasting. Much more personal than the "industrial" vibe of the big name tasting rooms. The food and wine were fabulous, and we made a new friend in Chef Sam. One of the highlights of our Sonoma Valley visit....More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
How much does a lunch wine and food pairing cost per person? We have 6 in our party, and would want to all sit together for this. Would that be a problem?

Plenty of room to accommodate your party of 6. May reservations in advance and they will have everything set up when you arrive. It definitely is "small bites" but each course was very unique and paired nicely with their... More
