We just completed the 2016 Passport weekend. We stopped at Pedroncelli. This winery is highly rated on their Zin generally 90%+. Their Cab is good and priced right. If you have a chance to get to this winery stop by and visit. It's laid back, they have lots of choices that are priced right if you don't want to spend... More

The Sonoma Creek Inn gave us a map and several suggestions of wineries to visit along with come complimentary tasting cards. We loved the friendliness of all of the wineries, the good wine, we did an olive oil tasting at Figone's and ate well. The sunshine was a plus before we headed back to the Northwest on our road trip.

While cruising Sonoma and Napa valley always ends as a costly experience to try few wines of different values if not of few value as pricy may these be, Mayo offers a more affordable and interesting experience. For 6$ per person (rather than 20$ or more elsewhere), you will try six different wines that they are themselves producing. The 2009... More

This was our first stop out of 6 wineries, and it was a super way to start out a wonderful day. Shaun was amazing, knowledgeable and hilarious. The items for purchase were adorable and not found in the other wineries we toured. The cork dorks, purses, and mama's sippy cup (martini glass inside) were snatched up by many of us.... More

Our Somolier Sean was most knowledgeable and most charming when it comes to his wines. The wines from all six wineries were excellent. Sean brings a lot of good humor and friendliness to his place. It's definitely worth stopping for a taste! The gift shop has many unusual and practical gifts. If you buy wine, the wine tasting fee is... More

We stopped in here because we had a pass for a free tasting from Red Awning. They have a great variety of wines from all over CA. Our pourer was very knowledgeable and friendly, not something I can say of a few others we visited that day. I highly recommend stopping here. These wineries had great personality and even better... We recently did a limo wine tour of the Dry Creek Valley and our first stop was Wilson Winery on Dry Creek Road. The staff of two women were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the wines. They were very generous and allowed us to try many different wines. We were a group of 8 and live in neighboring Marin County... More

Our first stop on our trip to the Sonoma/Napa area was at the Mayo Winery Reserve Tasting Room in Kenwood.(Not to be confused with the Mayo Winery near Glen Ellen). They do a 7 course wine and food pairing, and all the little food samples are cooked fresh by their on-site chef. Jim was waiting on us and did a... More
