Janice took great care of us. I brought family and friends. The objective is to hike a bit and gather great smelling plants to add to scrubs, salts and soaps. We succeeded! The headwaters for the San Dieguito River start here. The water contributes to...More

This is a very nice hike, with great views along the way. It is easy to get there and the trail is easy to follow, with interesting information displays along the way.

The hike was a bit moderate as it's uphill, but the views were spectacular! Well worth the hike! Bring lots of water and be prepared for a bit of climate change.

Our seven-year old enjoyed his first hike here, and the broad trail and informative signs made it a wonderful introductory hike.

Sweet little town, we'll worth the trip out of the city. Two things you do not want to miss Warm Hearth and Julian Pies.

I would recommend this hike on milder days as you will be in the sun some. Take water and watch for poison oak. I went in early May - lots of wildflowers and the views were breathtaking!
