Nice town hall

Nice to see all these old buildings still in use. Nice place to get info about goings on around town. They hold events in some of the rooms here....very nice.

There are many brochures available about things to do and see while visiting Julian. Sometimes there's a Chamber of Commerce person in the office. Good place to start you visit.

Glad to find easy to access public restroom. You will need to carry quarters though for these restrooms are not free. They are also in need of a major cleaning.

Make sure to stop in to say Hi to ladies at the Chamber of Commerce. They know just about everything that is going on in the town about the events and activities.

Not much to see in the building but it is where the city holds various concerts and the like. The day my wife and I visited the was a fiddlers contest going on. One thing about Julian, there aren't any FREE public restrooms outside a few in the restaurants in town. Behind city hall there are 4 that require a... More

The old townhall of Julian is situaed in the middle of this nice old town, high in the moutains. Lots of outdoor activities and historic buildings. The village is beautifully situated. The drive to it is wonderful.

The town hall is small (upstairs and a separate outside down stairs entries) centrally located on the Main Corner so it can not be missed. Rebuilt after more than one fire but worth stopping in especially on weekends when events are often held. Very few public toilets in Julian unless you are at a restaurant but there are 2 behind... The Julian Town Hall 's 100th year was celebrated in 2014. The Town Hall is open daily from 10 AM to 4 PM and houses the Julian Chamber of Commerce office/Julian Visitor Center. If you are in Julian, stop by for information and take a look at the historic photos in Town Hall, (where, by the way, they still hold... More

Julian is a lovely town with great history and wonderful countryside but the motorcycle gangs were too noisy. The town shoukd be smelling of apple pie and mountain air, except it stinks of motorcycles! It took away from the charm of the place.
