This memorial was first started to mark the passing of soldiers in the Gulf War and now has evolved into a permanent memorial. The park itself (which local youngsters sometimes call "Castle Park") includes a good playground area and a walking path with exercise stations.

A beautiful place to pay your respects to all our lost military service members. We cannot thank those who lost their lives and their families enough.

This is a wonderful memorial in a beautiful park in Northwood. There is a playground for the kids as well as picnic tables. The setting is idyllic and a great way to pass a summer afternoon.

This (I believe) is a one of a kind memorial dedicated to those men and women who lost their lives too soon, in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. We found it quite by accident while coming back from breakfast. Seems it doesn't get much publicity...More
