Not sure if we got lucky but saw two large herds (close) and a small unhappy group of young bulls. The scenery is stunning, the trail is moderate, and the vista are stupendous.

The trees that formed the canopy entrance surely set the stage for a stimulating and peaceful visit. We kept having to stop along the way in to take one more picture of the vista or another picturesque tree.
