We had the pleasure several years ago to attend the Men's Championship (Djokovic won that year).
Their facilities are impressive. We've been to three of the four Grand Slam venues. Indian Wells is almost as nice as all of them.

We are a couple of Tennis fanatics, we play all the time and everywhere we travel.
Indian Wells is a fabulous venue, courts are immaculate, well positionned - maintained, the views are unbeleivable, weather is consistently sunny and dry, and has plenty of parking on...More
This is probable the best venue we have been to of all the Tournaments. Through the years, the grounds have been greatly improved and so have the increase in the crowds! Still a great place to go and see your fav players

Best ticket in town if you love tennis and like being up close and personal with the tennis stars. The venue is beautiful and the weather is the best. Practice courts abound and smaller stadiums are free the general admission patrons. What a bargain!
I went to the tennis garden at the time it was hosting the masters 1000 back in march, I must say this is one of the best tournaments to visit if you like tennis, there are a lot of hotels near the area where you...More

Agree with other posters that you are usually able to get on site grounds tickets early in the first week. However, I always recommend advance purchase to avoid the lines and ensure you have tickets for the limited days of your visit. As the prices of stadium tickets skyrocket, more fans are pushed to purchase only grounds tickets. You get the best value on those in the first week when there are dozens of matches to see. This tournament can sell out, so not only do I recommend advance purchase, I recommend doing it as soon as your travel plans are set and tickets are available online. Check the web site starting 5 months before the tournament begins.

There are several vendors selling food. We ate at a couple of places and they were good.
