This museum is housed in an old Carnegie Library and has an interesting collection in the basement floor about the fruit canning business that was important there in the 1800's. There is an elevator and upstairs we saw an outstanding exhibit on Indigenous people from Healdsburg area and outstanding baskets and beading on loan from the Hearst Collection in Berkeley. Well worth a visit!

This museum had a wonderful small town overview dating from the founding in the mid-19th Century. Lots of old photos. Esy to see in an hour and provides good back ground for touring later.

Very interesting artifacts with the background of families responsible for settling the areas. Great value on a T-shirt with a beautiful H logo for only $15. Good deal. Excellent volunteer docent. Love her. Ask her about her hero father who was a marine and mayor.

This is a small community based museum set in a carnagie library building. It is good for a quick visit with some permanent exhibits on history of Healdsburg and usually one special exhibit also. A nice break from wine tasting

Came to Healdsburg for Single Thread but loved the town and realised there was so much more to it. As everyone says, this is just a very small place but it does help to better understand the town's history; very helpful people.

This museum is quite near the town center. No admission fee and there is plenty of free parking nearby. The staff was very friendly. There was not huge number of exhibits and you can probably see everything in approximately 15 minutes. There are some pleasant paintings and other artifacts from the area. Probably not a must see for most people but still worth seeing if you have some time to spare.

I enjoyed this place. It is a cute little one room museum off the main drag. The lady working there was so sweet and informative. She gave us a tour around the room and explained why they have the displays and who makes them. Overall, it was a great way to spend an hour, and use the restroom while walking around town. Free!

The museum was small, located in an old Carnegie library. It had nice exhibits. About half of the room is a rotating exhibit. The staff was very friendly and it was free.

Neat community run art gallery -- numerous pubic events and special classes -- all be it very expensive -- for kids

The museum may be small but it is definitely packed with heart and variety. We arrived to explore the model train exhibit and were not disappointed. Even with the holiday exhibit of trains we were able to see remnants of the usual WWII exhibits. Views of Healdsburg’s older days. Worth the little detour from exploring the small shops in the square. The volunteers were friendly and helpful. A bit of a gift shop with some local specialties.
