Tucked into the hills of Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, Jordan Vineyard & Winery welcomes guests by appointment for four unique tours and tastings. From perennial gourmet wine tastings with food pairing in our cellar room and walking tours through our iconic chateau, to epicurean excursions across our scenic property and festive holiday celebrations offered seasonally, there is something for everyone to enjoy. All tours include both walking and seated tastings, each featuring seasonal tastes from the Jordan chef paired with vintages of Jordan Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Jordan's Estate Tour & Tasting also includes driving. Advance reservations are required due to the intimacy of tastings. Inspired by the timeless elegance of French wine and food, Tom and Sally Jordan founded Jordan Vineyard & Winery in 1972. Their vision was to create a wine estate that produced food-friendly Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay to rival the finest in France--and to capture the essence of gracious hospitality. Today their son, John, builds upon their legacy. This a must do your if you're ever in win country. There's so many wineries; however, if you can only do 1, then it must be this! Do the Jordan Estate Tour. It's $120pp; however, you get your money's worth. Rennie was our tour guide...More

The grounds do feel as if you have just driven up to a French chateau. We had to be at our tasting 15 minutes early; other wineries had been more flexible on timing. Regardless, it was an overall great experience. The two tasting rooms were...More

The tastings at Jordan are a very intimate affair. Just entering the "secret room" is an experience. The table is set so fancy with glassware and pairings that it can leave you both breathless and intimidated. A previous review suggested the staff was rude for...More

Jordan has been a favorite wine of mine since the mid-70's, just after they opened, but I've never got around to visiting until now. I don't know what's available to non-trade people, but being in the trade, we had a tour with pairing. This is...More

We're sorry that your experience was upsetting and wanted to explain the situation to your fellow TripAdvisors. The Library Tasting’s Cellar Room table only seats 12 guests, and you wanted to add another person (yourself) upon arrival, but the tasting was sold out. Having an...More

Correct. Tours & tastings require advance reservations, but the lobby is open during regular business hours, and guests are welcome to walk around the grounds and over by the rock wall vista.
