I have been to this nature center twice and both times I got to do the small tour. There are benches that people can reserve for events. The entrance is a bit hard to see when driving up D street. There is limited parking but...More

Up close and personal with nature, incuding an eagle and other raptors. Even fox and coyote live here. Fun snakes and spiders you can touch if you want to... and a skunk you can visit. Very fun family adventure.

There are a few large zoos in Bay area, but this might be a good alternative. It's small (and free!) but it provides a better emotional connection. There are stories behind the animals. Also, it's less crowded and less distraction. Great nature center!
