Great way to explain the past with your children. Most people don't know the Beach Boys childhood home doesn't exist anymore. Most people will be surprised what the county did with the land instead of making their house a landmark.

The house is gone and the remaining monument to the Beach Boys does recall so many songs and memories from Hawthorne High to the now run down Frosty Freeze that patterns their memory.

Found on the outside curve of two small city streets, unimposing. Saw names i knew in the memory bricks that support the medellion/reliefs. Glad i stopped and remembered walking the area as a teen before the freeway changed the section. Was glad to go to...More
