Make sure to have leashes for your dogs (this is an on leash beach, but with plenty of well behaved off/on leash pups and horses). This is a big beautiful beach, lots of shells, sea glass and room to run (humans and dogs).

The pictures of this beach show three horses in the morning, and no one else on the beach. Just imagine what happens when the horses have been there all day, the beach fills up with people, and the weather gets warm. Definitely not a good...More

Beautiful, clean and great for people and dogs. Had a great two days visiting this beach and would go back soon. Parking available.

Head north from the parking lot to get to the trail down to the beach. Parking is hourly rather than Half Moon Bay which is $10 for the day.

Great horse riding beach, with easy in/out horse trailer parking. So great for a no-hassle beach ride. Great for dogs too.

This is a local beach-paid parking, like $2 for an hour. The trail is not well maintained and is moderately steep. The only bad this was a lot of horses on the beach-so horse poop everywhere. In addition, people must party there at night and...More

You can park in an easy lot, and walk either north or south from this beach. The walk allows some beach access and some bluff sections.

We spend a couple of hours walking on the edge of the cliffs dominating the beach. Even if it was a cloudy day it was amazing. We would have like to have more time to spend there. The green of the grass on top of...More
