It is a good bar scene and a great place to experience the history of Grass Valley and the Gold Rush era. The food is hit-and-miss. Sometimes it is really good. Sometimes it is not.

Fun place to go. Bar is small and usually has music after 7p. In the dinning room you can see the bar and band. The food is good and moderately priced. Can be noisy.

I ate here after sightseeing in the area. The Holbrooke Hamburger is absolutely the best! I love the charm and history of old gold mining towns!
