Fantastic display of historical artifacts of the mining era in Nevada County. There is a working blacksmith shop that is worthwhile visit. Be sure to check out the entrance to the mine, the homestead and the recreational pavilion....all very well preserved and worth a visit....

What a great experience walking the grounds where early California miner mined for gold. Plenty of informative exhibits with lots of old mining equipment. No rush, plenty of time to look around.
