The historical farm and the house are interesting, nice to see up close how people lived a century ago, however, the park is rather limited in scope. Also worth mentioning is a train museum next door which offers mini-train riding, and trails around a lake...More

The grounds include a waling trail all the way around Lake Los Carneros, and the South Coast Railroad Museum with train rides when open. Great bird watching -- and other critters like bobcats.

This is a well-done glimpse at how a prosperous 1870s family lived in this part of California. The Historical Society has done a very nice job of assembling decorative arts -- some from the original family -- that reveal the evolution of life in the...More

Unfortunately due to our schedule we were not able to tour the inside of the home, only walk around it. We really enjoyed watching the video about the history of the property- fascinating. We will definitely come back.
