I’m a chocolate lover, I’m glad I found this place, the quality and flavors offered are top 10, amazingly made! Love it! I would recommend to buy more than the 7 box.

Wine Country Chocolates is the best shop ever. It’s the first store I drive to when visiting Sonoma. They have the best non-dairy chocolates. If you have a lactose allergy, this is the place to go. They also have regular delicious chocolate too. Check it out, stores are located in Sonoma and Glen Elen CA.

Great chocolatier just off Sonoma Plaza. Obviously chocolate pairs well with wine, so prepare to purchase a few delectable treats. We have visited this location in the past and perhaps a hidden gem, but well worth searching for when in the area.

An incredible 'discovery' - all that we tried were amazing. And the flavors on offer were diverse and quite interesting.

the man behind the counter was informative and really welcoming. the ganache samples were wonderful as well as the chocolate wafer samples, and they didn't mind how many we took! i bought a box of the truffles to take home. it was a really nice, sweet, stop on our wine tour.

I make a point of finding the best chocolates wherever I go; and, especially in the area around my home and within a one hour drive from my home.
These chocolates are average in taste and looks. When I asked how they’re made, I was told that ganache was rolled into little balls and set up assembly style, then covered with tempered chocolate.
I could tell by the taste, texture, and looks that there was not a lot of effort put into the flavor profiles.
Wine Country Chocolates is not worth the drive to get there. There are a few good restaurants nearby; and, if eating at one of those restaurants, I still wouldn’t stop to purchase their chocolates.

We were lured into this store because of signs that said "Chocolate Tasting". There was a sample of a chocolate selection of the day (orange or apricot), and it seemed reluctantly, the older woman behind the counter pointed to 3 containers of chocolate discs with varying % of cacao. She recommended starting at the higher percentage and working my way down, then she went to help other customers. I got the feeling that many people come in and don't buy anything so she didn't want to exert more effort than necessary. We didn't buy anything but might have if the vibe was better. Why 5 stars? The chocolate was really good.

Some of the best chocolate we have ever had! Wish we had to keep it cold so we could have purchased more. They staff was very helpful and patient as we made our choices. We have had chocolate in Switzerland and liked this more!

After being scolded by many places for having a baby with us, I was quite on edge until the friendly woman in this shop told my husband that of course my son was welcome in. She was so nice and the chocolate is amazing. I took home coconut brittle, a berry pomegranate bar and a sea salt and toffee bar. They were great! Just make sure you have them in a cooler bag or run them back to your hotel fridge so they don't melt! Highly recommend.

We were drawn in by the 'chocolate tasting' sign and weren't disappointed. Had a delicious free sample of their ganache which was enough to inspire us to buy a box of truffles. Only $2 each which is not bad at all! Oh so yummy! :)
