We came to this Wine Tasting because I had their Barbara at Willies Seafood and really like it. So, we came out here to try it. Geyserville is only a short ride from Healdsburg. This is a family owned winery and Norma, one of the owners waited on us. Soon, one of her sons, Travis came in and was nice as his mom. Loved hearing the history of this Winery
Loved the 2019 Barbara, 2018 Zin and 2017 Zin blend.

I absolutely loved this stop! We decided to walk around the tiny town after visiting Coppola winery. The sign that said we could order food at Diabolo while tasting wine sealed the deal! We were the only guests there for most of the time (Thurs afternoon). The hostess (Maria?) was a lovely lady of obvious Italian heritage who described how her brother makes these wines. We really appreciated the connectedness to the wines, along with them being tasty. We felt like family while eating and drinking here. Tasting is $20pp which is waived if you buy 2 bottles of wine. You will want 2 bottles… The staff at Diabolo next store will deliver food to you there, which is an added bonus. Everything we had was absolutely delicious!

This family owned winery has very delicious wines! I’d describe their wines as Italian inspired with a California twist. They have many different types of wines so I promise you’ll find something you like. Personally I love them all and most importantly they are consistent from year to year. The staff are so kind and warm-hearted - it’ll feel like home. Next time you are near Geyserville, check this place out, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I were searching Napa and Sonoma for that hidden gem that we had hoped would define our trip to wine country and we found it at Ramazzotti Vineyards. We had been to Napa some years back and was a bit startled as to how commercial it had become so we decided to escape Napa and traveled north over to Geyserville and hit the jackpot. I’ve become a huge fan of Italian varietals ever since visiting Tuscany a decade ago. In the wine guides Ramazzotti’s profile fit the bill and upon my first swirl of their Sangiovese I was hooked only to be further blown away by their Raffinto Super Tuscan. This wine was as good if not better than the wine I had tasted in Tuscany. This is a small production winery that is family run and their passion for winemaking is evident from pour to palate. Upon entering their tasting room we were greeted by the owner/winemaker’s sister Marie. She was as enthusiastic and proud to display the fruits of her brother’s craft and for good reason. Her graciousness was the pinnacle of our wine tasting experiences during our trip to California. Certainly a welcome departure from the commercial agribusiness wine tastings we had endured previously in Napa. It has been said that actions speak louder than words; we had visited Ramazzotti Vineyards on Saturday and purchased three bottles of the Super Tuscan only to consume two of them at dinner. I had joined their wine club but decided I couldn’t wait until October so the next day I gladly took the 2 hour scenic drive from our hotel in Napa returning to purchase several more bottles. Oh well I think I’m going to need a bigger suitcase. In summary this winery is an authentic hidden gem that needs to be visited on your wine country tour!

I spent a delightful hour and a half at Ramazzotti Winery’s Geyserville tasting room last month. Ramazzotti is the definition of a small, family-run winery – Joe and Norma Ramazzotti (husband and wife) are your hosts in the tasting room, and they are charming. Chatting with them was an opportunity to learn about the wines from the people who make them – a pleasant, down-to-earth alternative to the “Disneyland experience” at some larger wineries. The wines are very good, particularly the reds. I bought the Raffinto (a California take on a Super-Tuscan blend) and the Ricordo (75% Zinfandel blended with Petit Sirah, Carignane, and other grapes, typical of the field-blends that Italian winemakers created in Northern California). If you enjoy those types of wines, I definitely would encourage you to check out the Ramazzotti tasting room (right next to Diavola Pizzeria).

I was there recently and had a great experience. I started with the whites and while they are good, what really impressed me was the reds. They do a great job with the Cabernet Franc, the Rafhinto, and the Regale Reserve. Frankly I can say that over the weekend we visited over 15 wineries and had to come back to Ramazzotti to revisit. The family is very friendly and open to sharing with you their experience on the wine making process. I definitely recommend this place. As an added note, later in the trip we had dinner at the Coppola restaurant and one of the few non Coppolla wines that is served there is the Cabernet Franc from Ramazzotti.

This is a must stop for anyone traveling in wine country. Every wine we tried, and we tried a lot, was exceptional. It was hard to find a favorite so we bought 8 bottles! Lisa was awesome, and, if you are lucky, Joe might be there and he will roll out he red carpet for you. Arrive at 11:00am, taste some wine, then buy a bottle of your favorite. Then walk ten feet to Diavolo's for the best wood-fired pizza in California. They will cork the bottle for you. This was our last stop after a week of tasting and eating and it was our favorite by far. Enjoy!

We stopped in after lunch and found a super Mom & Daughter team that was very knowledgeable about their wines. Dad was away crushing grapes. Good wine and fun people. The only quirk I noticed was they used the same glass for all the pours. Most tasting rooms use a fresh glass for each pour.
