Take your camera and hike along the lakes. Plenty of photo ops today, especially birds and squirrels. There was also a brood of newborn ferrel kittens today. Lots of group parties and loads of fun being had.

I ran for years here but now just walk. There are ups and downs, easy and difficult, lots to see and friendly people. A great place to get away and just chill out.

The Japanese Garden is fairly romantic but only open limited hours. There is is a dog park. If you both own dogs might be a good ice breaker. If she likes to hike or bike it has trails.
