This is an amazing place. It's not a garden in the usual sense of the word, but it is very interesting, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Adult entrance fee was $17 at time of writing. You get a guided tour, which was...More

A creative genius built his home and orchard underground because it provided a more comfortable environment for both him and the trees.

This is an interesting place, but not a garden at all. It's a cave that an ambitious man built to be his home (cooler than above ground). There are a few trees and grapevines, but no garden.More

I've seen fascinating places in comparison, but none built by just one man; I think the work itself is a testament to his determination. Parts were later spruced up by his family that supposedly still owns it, but the tour was a good length.

A visit to the Forestiere Gardens is a must for residents of the Fresno area and a "not to be missed" by visiting friends and family.

we had a very wonderful trip and the tour guide was very knowledgable. The admission fee was very reasonable and the time of the tour was just right. We highly recommend this tour.

We had a great time. Just watch it if you are tall. My son is 6 ft 3 and bumped his head in one of the door ways. Very unique place and tour guide knowledgeable. Wish they had more of a gift shop .

We were in town visiting family and they recommended we come here. It's not too impressive from the road, but once you get inside - wow! An Italian immigrant got sold 80 acres of hardpan (that he thought would be citrus farms) and over the...More

We learned so much about the Forestiere legacy on our tour today with Lauren as our guide. She told stories of this place and made history come alive. Awesome seeing evidence of how one man made a home and a life when all he had...More

We visited the Forestiere Underground Gardens this weekend. We have lived here for 13 years, and this is the last of the activities we visited. Not sure what to expect, we planned an afternoon here. Honestly, this is truly a fantastic site! Built by a...More

I noticed that your questions were already answered (below) although we paid $15 for a senior admission (not $10 as someone else stated). Maybe the respondent had a coupon or other discount? You may access their website... More
