We were staying in Newark which is 10/15 minutes away. We found it to be the easiest way to cross the bay and travel in to San Francisco. The toll charge is $5

Of the seven(?) crossings in the Bay Area, this one is near the bottom. Nothing much to see when driving across. Bad traffic during rush hour. It's a bridge.

Traveled several times through this bridge. It is a nice experience though often it is crowded. Watching the surrounding water and passing vehicles make the crossing of this bridge a nice experience.

There's not much else to say. When traffic is good, I can get over the bridge to the 101 in good time. When traffic is bad, the entire commute turns bad. I don't really care for how the lanes minimize after the toll gates because...More

The Dumbarton Bridge opened with a running race called "first Crossing" my son won it and I placed fairly well also, so whenever I cross it, I have fond memories.

The Dumbarton Bridge is a necessity if you need to get from SFO/San Francisco across to other locations in the Bay Area. I haven't had to experience it at Rush Hour, but outside of that have not had any issues. I enjoy the views of...More

The new Dumbarton Bridge has definitely made it easier to travel between the East Bay and West Bay, but the traffic is always increasing since the opening of Face Book headquarters and also the increase in traffic to Palo Alto and Menlo Park. The best...More
