Nearest mountain to hike here in east bay with a trail, the environment is clean and a lot of hikers every weekend. Nice place to discover the breathtaking view of east bay.

Good hike not to difficult, when you reach the top it is an awesome view of the bay area. There are three differnt trails you can take to the top.

Had been here couple of times. Once you find parking somewhere around the Winery on Stanford Ave, which is actually 10% of the time you spent here, you are set to view vibrant greenery from the trail. Wild Turkeys, deer and cows flock these grasslands....More

Such a great hike! You'll prob see a few animals along the way. Be on the lookout for tarantulas, rattlesnakes and scorpions. It's a long strenuous hike. So you may want to train a bit before you take this one.

We hiked this trail a few times, but in the summer it is just too hot and too hard to hike because there are not that many trees. There are lots of better trails in the Bay Area.
