This is a good place for hiking. The view is so beautiful. Many bird watchers are there to take picture, so you know it has very natural environment for animals.

In the 1950's , it was the site of a Nike Missile battery to protect San Francisco, There are some nice rolling hills here and one challenging hill which goes to the old military structure. Good for running, hiking , and bicycling.

There isn't a gate etc. simply park and walk on the trail. There is no charge and thus, no need to have anyone there at 0630.
