Absolutely the best! Whenever I am in the North Bay Area, I will gladly drive out of my way to visit this place. The breads are as tasty as they could be. The place is small, the line is often long, but all worth it. Get couple different breads because you will be surprised how quickly you will get thru the first one - yes, it's that good!

This place is my favorite! I will drive quite a bit to get here because it’s that good! We went this past weekend and they had changed it since we last visited. Now you line up outside and there’s a window taking your order. They accept cash or credit card.the bread is amazing!

Worth the wait. Delicious breads and coffee. Really expensive, though, but I guess everything is these days.

This bakery may be “off the beaten track”, but you would never know it by the vehicles parked around the bakery. We purchased three different loaves of bread: fougasse, pumpkin, and a sticky bun which more than lived up to sticky. Our car carried the aromas of these breads for rest of the day.

We love the bread so much we buy it almost exclusively. My husband likes the Salty Dog while I prefer the “seeded” loaf and fougasse so yummy with cheese inside.

I’d been told how good this was and we stopped aiming to get a couple of things on our way further afield.
As a Scot I hadn’t been convinced that Americans could produce anything like an edible scone but here I was wrong. The place was packed early on a Sunday morning with people buying stuff more or less as it came out the ovens. The raspberry, ginger and lavender scones, strawberries and cream scones, double chocolate scones and the savoury scone with asparagus and cheese were superb. We just sat in their vegetable garden and ate them, warm and on their own. Highly recommend.

This place is busy and has a nice selection. They'll also let you taste samplers. A nice stop if you're in the area, but not worth a specific trip.

We came across this bakery on a previous trip but decided to revisit as the quality of the baking was so amazing. Even seeing the bakery in action is something worth staying for with at least 10 people working on different types of bread at a time. This place get top score for quality, service, atmosphere and theatre.

I enjoyed the savory scones — always a delight to walk through the garden! Oh great stop on your way to the Pacific ocean
