Found while driving on hwy 20. Walked around campground. Beautiful location for camping. We did not camp but the sites were set in a tree covered environment.

If you're traveling on Hwy 20, you must stop at the roadside here to have lunch. The hum of the trees will recharge your battery. So quiet, so green and the sound of distant water. We never miss it when we go through.

We drove through here coming back from Fort Bragg. It is a pretty forest and is a nice drive...if you can avoid the folks trying to go 20 MPH over the speed limit. The trees are very nice and is well worth the trip.

We saw dozens of beautiful redwood trees, so grand ...and all kinds of firs... plenty of places to pull over to stop and get out to take photos... Your phones may not work in the deep forests, same with gps...

Trails of all levels with some amazing scenery; however, bring a map and/or program your route into your bike computer (we did the later).

This is a regrowth forest, salvaged and replanted after years of over-logging. If there's a way to get into the park by car, it is well hidden.

Excellent single track through miles of beautiful redwood forest. We loved it. Thanks to the volunteers who created these beautiful trails. Be prepared for mosquitoes in the spring--a little Cutter or Off spray before you start will make you happier at the end of the...More

You can walk/run/ride for hours under the canopy of huge trees for hours without seeing another soul. Enjoy the tranquillity but I was advised to spoil it a bit, just so the mountain lions and bears hear you approaching along the trail and disappear into...More
