Fabulous instruction in an incomparably beautiful setting: the open waters of the Mendocino coast and inside the Mendocino headlands. Personalized attention for all different skill levels. This was our third trip with Liquid Fusion and it just keeps getting better. Last year we rode twice with Cate and this year we had the pleasure of meeting and riding with Jeff. We had a wonderful experience again, and we will certainly be back. Thank you Jeff and Cate for an always educational and fun trip.

The Sunset Bird Paddle Tour on the Noyo River was fantastic. Cate is an excellent guide, both good at paddle skills instruction and knowledgeable about area wildlife. Highlights of our tour included: - Traveling alongside a pair of diving river otters; - Observing a harbor seal disperse fish for its dinner; - Finding adult and juvenile night herons and ospreys;... We're not experienced kayakers so meandering down the river was perfect for us and our two kids. We had a great time and learned basic kayaking skills. The kids had a blast too! This was the highlight of our trip!!

Very enjoyable experience meandering in the Noyo river nestled amidst lush greenery and wildlife. Great for families and individuals alike. Got to see an otter, deer, a beautiful swan, vultures and few other bird species. Our guide Kate was very friendly and we had a really enjoyably and relaxing experience.

Wonderful, relaxing, afternoon kayaking up the Noyo River. We are both 68 years old and found this to be easy and fun after a few tips from our guide Jeff. Jeff was very knowledgeable about the river and the wildlife. He was very friendly and always concerned about our safety.

Jeff and Kate were great! Not only were they gracious, more importantly they are professional and have outstanding equipment. Jeff showed incredible patience with my wife, who to say the least is kayak challenged and she ended up having a fantastic time. My 6 year old, Evan, loved watching the wildlife and of course pretending we were in a kayak... More

We booked the Noyo Meander with Cate and had an absolutely amazing time! Our kids (age 6 and 8) had a ton of questions and Cate answered them all patiently. She is an extremely knowledgeable guide and was able to tell us us a lot about the local wildlife. We got to see different kinds of birds, two seals and... More

Besides the seasonal knowledge of the environment, Jeff passed on some helpful kayaking techniques that made the trip very worthwhile. This is a great family and/or single outing in such a serene environment. Highly recommend the trip, you will not be disappointed.

We have been out with Cate and Jeff several times for Sea kayaking/Rock gardening classes. We are so impressed with their focus on both safety and skill development. This time we took our grandchildren (ages 6, 6 and 9) out on the very mild Noyo Meander paddle which was a totally different - but great - experience. Cate was excellent... More
