My wife and I first visited the tasting room in fort Bragg, then made our way to the winery north of town on Saturday. The wines are fantastic, but the true majesty comes when you walk seaside. They have an enormous ench where ever spent a few hours Just sipping wine and appreciating the silence. This needs to be on... More

Very unique winery in a spectacular location. True they don't grow their own grapes but instead buy from a host of small growers producing quality product. It's my fault and Dads Red are very drinkable. Don't miss the walk out to Dads bench to take in the view. And don't miss a chat with Sally about the history of the... More

The winery’s location is stunning atop rugged cliffs and crashing surf and quite unique for, as owner Marcus pointed out, the Pacific Star is the only winery located above the eponymous fault line (I bet the cleverly named “It’s my fault” is their best selling wine). It’s one of only two wineries in the area and strategically located on State... More

Highly recommend! Fantastic views and Sally was very welcoming and friendly. I want to return for a few nights in their cabins located on the property. You won't be sorry if you spend a day out there!

I loved everything about this winery. Views are truly breathtaking, wine is great and even though Sally, the owner, stay very busy with all the guests, I really enjoyed chatting with her. I highly recommend a stop here if you're in the area.

An interesting location with great ocean views from the winery, but don't expect to taste great wine. None of the grapes are locally sourced, but are purchased from growers throughout CA, including the Livermore valley. Not unusual in todays wine industry, but the wines are average at best...the gimmick being the winery on the ocean which somehow infuses the wine... More

Very worthwhile. Sally is very knowledgeable about wines and produces a range that is based on locally sourced grapes. The wines are well priced and the location of the winery-perched on sea cliffs just north of Fort Bragg CA- will literally knock your socks off. Just do it!🍷🍷

Such a beautiful winery. The views are amazing and they have lots of different areas that you can enjoy them from. I love how the seating is arranged with lots of space between each one so you don't feel cramped together. The wines were also tasty. They have a $5 tasting that gives you a lot to try. I think... We've been here before and were blown away by the views of the ocean. (This is not at their tasting room in Ft Bragg, but at their winery further up on 1.) This time we came with a friend. The view is still spectacular, the nice young lady pouring the wine was friendly, and the wine is good. Worth the... More

Great place to drink some wine. Great setting. But ... I don't think the folks working there (the owners?) like (small) children.
