Tons of beautiful flowers, any kind that one can think of, rhododendrons of different colors and sizes! Trees and even a pine tree that has a blue pine cone that I have never seen before! Camellias, heathers, magnolias, succulents, dahlias, etc. Of course, we brought our own lunch and sat in one of the benches and enjoyed the surrounding while... More

You really can't beat a botanical garden on the coastline. I really, truly only have good things to say. Friendly staff, great and regional flora, a trail that leads you straight to the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean. If you like a rocky shoreline, coastal climate, and an impressive selection of botanicals, don't miss this garden!

My husband and I went to visit this place today and it was definitely worth it. There is so many other variety of plants and flowers on this property. I'm suprise to see so many different types of magnolias blooming here in the beginning of February. I can already imagine how beautiful this place will be in the spring and... More

Although this is much more beautiful in the summer it was still worth the visit. Plenty of walking and neat things to see. Takes you out to the coast and be sure to stop in the little cliff housr.

My family really enjoyed walking around here for two or three hours. Make sure to wear rubber boots, or at least have them in the car if you're headed this way. Some areas too wet for tennis shoes. Make sure to find the cliff house.

Beautiful garden with a wide variety of plantings in beautiful location. They had rental scooters to allow my grandmother who doesn't walk well to enjoy the whole garden. Staff were very helpful.

Hello fellow Sojourners - Did he just say 'must-see' in the title of the review? Is that even allowed? I don't know if it's allowed but I did just say it. Seriously, look for the big sign, put on a turn signal and pull in to the parking lot. Find a place for your conveyance to take a breather and... More

Always open and very friendly; many interesting plants with many fine and mature rhododendrons; take the walk to the ocean for views not to be missed and in February look out for migrating grey whales.

We stopped at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens on our way to see the Glass Beach in Fort Bragg. I took a nice walk along their trails and explored their beautiful gardens along the coast. The trails eventually lead to a shack on a bluff overlooking the coast. The views are incredible and it's a peaceful place to stop and... More
