Met another couple for some wine tasting and snacks. It was a beautiful day out. There was a little chill, but the heat lamps and sunshine kept us comfy. We also brought our puppy. Definitely a dog friendly location. See ya all soon!!

Highly recommend. Very different vibes and atmosphere from your typical tasting room. The staff is always wonderful. They source a lot of their grapes from well respected vineyards in the areas and offer a variety of wines that would appeal to anyone.

We were scheduled to have our wedding at Trentadue Winery but at the last minute the fires forced us to move locations. We got moved to Russian River Vineyards. I believe we were the first wedding to be hosted there. Not only do they have amazing wines, the staff are so accommodating, nice and helpful. We had the most amazing day and we will be back as soon as possible.

We ended up at the Russian River Vineyard on our winetasting day in the Sonoma county… after arriving for a late lunch, we just did not feel like moving on. When we came to the Corks Restaurant, the waitress recommended their burger, and we did not regret following her advice. The burger was simply excellent, but the best part was the fries drizzled with truffle oil. After dinner, we went on wine-tasting outdoors enjoying the nice garden, vineyards and the strange copy of an old brewery house. The wines were truly excellent, and the experience became even nicer when a guitar player showed up, plugged in and started playing even though we were just a few people there. As the evening customers started coming in, it was time for us to leave with a nice memory of nice, food, wine and welcoming staff. The estate has a personal atmosphere and the staff were proud to be part of the local family bringing the traditions on further.

This is a great place to taste wines in a 60s and 70s atmosphere. When you walk in from the parking lot, we noticed old (1950s) cars and trucks in the parking lot that were "decoration" and indicative of the old school hippy vibes. The building is an old, weathered barn. Wine tasting takes place outside on tables on the patio under umbrellas or on picnic benches under the trees. We chose the trees, as did most people and their dogs, who seems to love the place as much as the people. Classic rock from the 70s filled the air. Food was available - which was overpriced, small portioned, but good.

After what had been a frankly disappointing trip around Sonoma, we had the pleasure of going to Russian River Vineyards. It was one of the places I had researched prior to the trip and after so many commercial places, this one proved to be the perfect place for a Sunday afternoon. Set in a glorious countryside, the rather ramshackle main building is surrounded by beautiful terraces, and seating areas. The Staff (especially Lucy) were all very polite, friendly and helpful. Known for its Pinot Noir, the wines were some of the better ones I had tasted. Paired with wood fired pizza and stunning views, Sunday afternoons dont come much better then this.

Was driving by and stopped in. Great reception from will. Very in pretentious and welcoming. The pinots were excellent and the duck was divine. Check this place out. The duck was just one item on the menu that was enticing.

This was our fifth and last winery visit over two days, and our favorite. The setting for tasting is outside. We were seated at a picnic table and served our samples there, unrushed and relaxed. It is one of the few wineries in the area with its own restaurant. We did not eat there, but wanted to take a picnic to the coast, so we ordered some things to go. This was disappointing. We ordered the marinated olives (good, and plentiful) the house-made burrata (also good, and plentiful) and the charcuterie and cheese (this was NOT plentiful) The charcuterie was three small pieces of cheese, suitable for one serving each, and two very small portions of cured meat. For $17 this was ridiculous. Luckily, we stopped at a convenience store and got an artichoke salad and some crackers to finish our picnic for 4 people. This would not stop me from trying their restaurant for a full meal in such a beautiful setting.
