Not all of the rail station was opened. Only entered one rail car and talked with a docent. Did find a lamp for sale that we purchased to match one we have at home.

I love going on the Folsom Valley Railway. I take my niece every time she is home and she absolutely loves it!! Its a great little ride for adults as well. Just wish it was a longer ride :)

If you go to Folsom Zoo, then this is a must do afterwards if you have small children! It's a perfect thing to do to wrap your day up at the park. I love this little train and its history! The owner is very nice...More

The newly renovated museum may be small, but houses lots of the history of trains in the Folsom area. A wonderful stop for young children as they actually can board the train.

You can get a horseshoe with your name stamped on it by the blacksmith make sure the ends are pointed up for good luck. The people are very friendly and the exhibits are very interesting. On Saturdays they have a farmers market.
