Sweet place to camp in the spring. Sheltered from winds off the lake. Plenty of room to relax, walk or ride your bike. Folsom Lake is full of water right now.

Nice to see and walk around down by the Lake Area...gives you a great view of what the Lake/Dam area looks like from close up.

I ran to Beals Point from downtown Folsom on the trails that follow the American River. The trails are smooth and clearly labeled. And I saw Jack Rabbits on the trail! A special treat

This Campground as vibrant as there's lots of shade around in this summer it does get very hot there's lots of areas to mountain bike ride and hike

Swimming (when there is water,) hiking, and camping are available here. Its also one end of the American River bike trail, you can ride from here to Old Sacramento.
