Another scenic stop along our tour. Beautiful Black Sand beach. Nice look at traditional Polynesia and its volcanic history.

Amazing beauty are Tahiti beaches and sea colors. One of the few islands I would return to for a visit. The people, tropical beauty, surfers and black Taharuu Beach are stunning. We hired a taxi to take us around best way to go.

It's a nice trip from e.g. Papeete. The sand is pitch black and soft. There is a young crowd of surfers that are nice to watch. Also, there is a kiosk and easy parking.

beautiful black sand beach with surf close to shore, rock bottom. Off to the left is good snorkeling too. Nice because there is parking, bathrooms, shower, place to eat and grocery store very close. super clean with friendly locals.

The beach is black sand which is unique to Tahiti, it feels a little more gritty than yellow sand but never the less it is a sight well worth seeing

Good beachbreak, overhead on a good day and barrelling... locals are a bit tough to get a set wave from but good times overall!
