Whether you're a surfer or a boogie boarder or just a beach goer...this is one of the best beaches in So. Cal. Spend the entire day or just a couple of hours...you won't be sorry.

Take long quiet walks along the water and listen to the waves hit against the shore. The sky is filled with twinkling stars.

Crowded and the surfers there do not like sharing waves. Also has lots of sting rays! Beautiful gardens at the top though! Great food nearby.

At Swami's you get a great wrap for lunch. This place is a Encinitas classic! The staff is very friendly. We love the nr 8 wrap!

This was the first stop of our trip. Lucky enough to find parking and were memorized by the gold flecks in the wet sand. The area was clean with plenty of places to walk, explore, wade and surf.
