This bridge is a marvel of modern engineering at its very best. It connects mainland Greece with the Peloponnese region which is in effect an island, as its only "connection" by land to the mainland was cut and became, in the late 19th century, the...More

I would recommend this place only if you have to pass by it. Its a suspension bridge not sure why it is hyped. There is a toll to pass through it , approximately 13 Euros if I'm not wrong.

From 2004 this wonderful 3km long bridge is an attraction in the area and of course a proof of progress and a mean that helped transportation in Greece.Wonderfull to see it from far and even at Saturday nights when it is lighted up.

This bridge is a huge project which connects northern Greece with the Peloponnese! I think the price for the ticket should be a bit lower!

We crossed the bridge in our trip from Patras to Lefkada. We loved the whole trip, and that bridge is absolutely wonderful. A must visit place, you can stop aside and enjoy a coffee in one of the bars close to it.

This is a modern suspension bridge. Its amazing, just like all the other large suspension bridges throughout the world. A great photo opportunity and a useful shortcut.
